Charlotte Elizabeth Lindorff was baptised on the 24th July 2005 at St.Brigid Church, Anakie. Charlotte was a little angel
during mass, not even a peep (got to love the dummy!). We had lunch at the Anakie Staughton Vale hall (supper room) where we got married 2 1/2 years ago. We were going to have it our house (yes we have finally moved in) but due to the driveway being in such disrepair (fault of the trenching contractors) we had to find an alternative venue.

20th May 2005 – Branko, Charlotte’s Deda (=Grandad), reluctantly but happily holds ‘fragile’ Charlotte for the first time. Branko previously maintained that he would be too rough to handle such a small baby, but he soon learnt that he could be gentle in his method and he subsequently thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Barbara (Baka) on the otherhand, will hold Charlotte at every chance she gets.
A life in a new world can be a challenge, but what about the new family members!? So excited about the arrival of Charlotte, Baka (grandma Medjumurac), Melanie, Katarina and Marijana waited outside the birthing room while Charlotte was cleaned up and Helena stitched up. They were overjoyed to see mother and child in good health. Here are a few photos of family with baby Charlotte.

The newest addition to the Lindorff family, beautiful Charlotte has created much joy already for us. Mother and baby are coping extremely well, with Charlotte taking to a good feed and enjoying peaceful sleep periods. Helena did a wonderful job, riding the pain, with constant determination all the way through the tiring 16 hour labour. Here are a small sample of photos taken on the morning of the 18th May.
More to come – when we get a chance!!!
Proud Mum and Dad welcome into the world, Charlotte Elizabeth – born at the Bacchus Marsh Hospital on 17th May 2005 at 7:38pm. Charlotte weighs 8 pounds 5 ounces and is coping well after an arduous labour. Helena, understandably tired, is extremely chuffed and looking forward to bringing Charlotte home. We thank-you all for your support and well-wishes. We will post some photos for you all to see soon.
The long wait is over….. nearly!! As of 3:30am this morning, Helena has been experiencing labour contractions. And as I type…. the waters have broken (10:04am). Hope we shall have exciting news soon. Shall keep you posted. Chris.
